Refund policy

1) General

Our goal is to ensure you are satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains when and how returns, exchanges, and refunds may be provided.

2) Timeframe & Proof of Purchase

Returns or exchanges must be requested within 7 days from purchase or delivery (as applicable) and accompanied by the original receipt/invoice and original packaging.

3) Condition of Items

Items must be unused, unopened, and in resaleable condition. We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened or used unless there is a verified quality issue.

4) Non-Returnable Categories (Hygiene & Safety)

For quality and safety reasons, we generally do not accept returns for:

  • Fresh produce
  • Chilled/frozen goods
  • Meat/poultry/seafood
  • Baby food
  • Prepaid cards
  • Newspapers/magazines
  • Undergarments

Additional exclusions may apply where mandated by law or hygiene standards.

5) Promotional & Sale Items

Items sold as part of promotions, bundles, or clearance sales may be final sale and not eligible for return or exchange unless defective.

6) Quality Concerns on Opened Items

If an opened product appears defective or compromised in quality, please contact Store Management or email customercare@desimart.ae within 7 days with your receipt and details. We will assess and resolve per this policy and applicable law.

7) Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Cash refunds apply only to purchases originally paid in cash. Refunds for gift vouchers/coupons are not applicable.

8) Return Shipping / Collection

If a return is approved, we will advise the method for returning or collecting the item. Return shipping/collection charges may apply unless the item is defective or the wrong item was supplied.

9) Weight-Based Items

For items sold by weight, the final charge may vary based on the actual weight picked. Any adjustments will be reflected on your final invoice.
